Rep. Sanalitro to Host Free Community Document Shredding Event

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL – State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) is inviting residents to take advantage of a free community document shredding event hosted by her office this fall.

The event will be held on Saturday September 19th from 9a-12p, in the Pirates’ Cove parking lot, located at 901 Leicester Road in Elk Grove Village.

“Safely disposing of old financial records, medical documents, and other sensitive paperwork is an important step in protecting yourself from identity theft,” said Sanalitro. “I am pleased to offer this free service to help residents clear out unwanted documents while keeping their personal information secure.”

Residents are encouraged to bring personal documents containing sensitive information for secure shredding. The event is offered on a first come first serve basis, with residents limited to 2 bankers boxes per attendee.

“This event is a convenient and responsible way to dispose of paperwork you no longer need,” added Sanalitro. “I hope families throughout the community will stop by and take advantage of this free service.”
