Carol Stream, IL – State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) is now accepting applications for her 2025 Summer Legislative Internship Program. This paid opportunity is open to high school students, college students, and young adults interested in learning more about state government and public service.
Running from June 2nd through August 15th, the internship offers $17.50 per hour and valuable hands-on experience in legislative research, community outreach, and constituent services.
Interns will assist in drafting legislation, attending community events, working with local organizations, and supporting constituent correspondence and casework. The program aims to build leadership and communication skills while offering a close-up look at the workings of state government.
“This internship is a great opportunity for young people to learn how our government works while gaining real-world experience and giving back to their community,” said Rep. Sanalitro.
