DuPage County, IL – State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro’s (R-Hanover Park) 2nd Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive is running from August 5th through August 16th. The effort to collect donations of backpacks, pens, pencils, crayons, glue, tape, notebooks, among other school supplies is being undertaken to support local families and students in need.
“As a mother, I know how difficult shopping for back to school can be. With inflation up across the board, many families are struggling to send their students off with the right supplies to enhance their learning experience,” said Sanalitro. “I ask that residents consider helping ease the burden on working families and curious students by making a donation of supplies to my Back-to-School Drive before August 16th.”
Donations can be dropped of to Rep. Sanalitro’s District Office located at 962 W. Army Trail Rd. in Carol Stream Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm. Requested donations include but are not limited to the following: Backpacks, Pens, Pencils, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Glue, Tape, Notebooks, Scissors, Folders, Binders, Hand Sanitizer, Tissues, etc.
All donations will be distributed to various area schools and learning institutions who service students in need.
