MEDINAH, IL – State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) is welcoming the Presidents Cup to Medinah Country Club, taking place Tuesday, September 22 through Sunday, September 27, 2026.
“Medinah Country Club is an important part of our community, and I am excited to welcome the Presidents Cup to DuPage County,” said Rep. Sanalitro. “This event provides an opportunity to showcase our community to visitors from around the world. I hope everyone attending, working, and living near the event has a safe and enjoyable week.”
The Presidents Cup is expected to bring several days of increased activity to the Medinah area, with visitors traveling to the community throughout the event, including prominent guests from the worlds of business and public life.
Rep. Sanalitro continued, “I am imploring that all be respectful to each other, surrounding businesses, and everyone’s right to peacefully observe our first amendment right.”
With increased activity anticipated around the tournament, officials are encouraging everyone in the area to help keep the event safe and orderly. Individuals who choose to exercise their right to peacefully demonstrate are encouraged to do so lawfully and respectfully, while remaining mindful of the safety of attendees, residents, law enforcement personnel, and fellow demonstrators.
Residents and visitors should also plan ahead for increased traffic and possible travel delays around Medinah Country Club throughout tournament week.
