SPRINGFIELD, IL – On the Illinois House Floor Wednesday, State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) recognized “Breakfast with Baby,” an Our Savior Lutheran Church sponsored effort based in Carol Stream. The group provides support and essential supplies to families with babies and toddlers up to 36 months old across DuPage County.
“Breakfast with Baby” is a faith-driven outreach program serving families with children up to 36 months old. The program began in October 2019 and expanded rapidly during the COVID-19 pandemic as the need for assistance grew.
On the third Saturday of each month, families are welcomed with breakfast and provided with free essentials, including diapers, baby wipes, and clothing for their children.
“In 2025 alone, Breakfast with Baby supported more than 1,000 local families and distributed over 74,000 diapers free of charge,” said Rep. Sanalitro. “The work being done by Christy, Karen, Dawn, and all the volunteers at Breakfast with Baby is truly making a difference for families throughout our community.”
Rep. Sanalitro also announced that “Breakfast with Baby” will be the beneficiary of the donations collected during her 4th Annual Diaper Drive, which runs through May 15.
“I am proud to support organizations like ‘Breakfast with Baby’ that embody neighbors helping neighbors,” Sanalitro said. “Thank you to Our Savior Lutheran Church and every volunteer involved for the incredible work you are doing to strengthen families and serve our community.”
