“I want to congratulate President Donald J. Trump on being sworn in as 47th President of the United States. I wish him luck when addressing the major challenges facing our country including the rising cost of living, increased crime, diminished healthcare, and the surge of illegal drugs crossing the southern border. I also extend him and his administration an invitation to work together on behalf of the State of Illinois.”
She concluded, “It is my hope our country returns to a place of unity and hope regardless of political affiliation.”
