I recently went door-to-door to share information about the important services offered by my office that are available to residents. During my walk session I met Gary and Carol.
They used the time I was at their door to give me feedback about how the cost of living and high taxes are really making it difficult for them to afford living in Illinois.
I encouraged them that as their State Rep, I am committed to supporting legislation that lowers taxes, cuts wasteful spending, and increases government transparency. Sure we have a long way to go, but if we prioritize these ideas we can return Illinois to a desirable place to live and do business.
