Rep. Sanalitro Statement on HB2412

The statement below was released by State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro following the House Republican Caucus placing a unified “present” vote on the last minute Election Omnibus bill (HB2412) brought forward by Illinois Democrats.

“I stood united with our Illinois House Republican caucus in voting ‘present’ as a protest vote on yet another major piece of legislation brought to the floor with no transparency and no citizen input,” said Sanalitro. “Legislators must work together to create opportunity for our families and job creators, not play political games.”
