Rep. Sanalitro Celebrates Exceptional Women Leaders at the State Capitol

Springfield, IL – Representative Sanalitro was honored to welcome distinguished guests from her district to the Illinois State Capitol for the annual Emerging Women Leaders (EWL) Conference on March 5, 2024.

Now in its third year, the EWL Conference stands as a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of up and coming women leaders across the state. This annual event empowers legislators, including Rep. Sanalitro, to spotlight “women to watch” from their constituencies and celebrate their contributions while engaging in meaningful dialogue, and offering them a day to develop with motivational activities and networking opportunities.

This year, Rep. Sanalitro extended invitations to two esteemed women leaders from her district: Jenny Yockey and Gail Crosson. Jenny Yockey serves as the President of the Roselle Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Director at Friendly Ford in Roselle, where she brings exceptional leadership and community engagement to the 48th District. Gail Crosson, as the Executive Director at the Roselle Chamber of Commerce, has made significant strides in fostering business growth and development throughout the Roselle community.
