Rep. Sanalitro Celebrates Diwali

I had the privilege of visiting the breathtaking BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Bartlett, Illinois this month. Their temple is a is a marvel of ancient craftsmanship and serves as a traditional Hindu place of worship built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.

While I can’t say Diwali is a holiday my family typically celebrates, I can say that this tour has made the Festival of Lights extra special for me.

As we celebrate, lets remind ourselves of the warmth of community and practice gratitude for the remainder of the holiday season.

Wishing everyone a joyous, prosperous, and safe Diwali! 🌟

Rep. Sanalitro Tours Local Industry

In between traveling back and forth to Springfield for legislative veto session, I had the opportunity to step outside lawmaking and tour some of our community’s industry.

My first stop was at Quest Diagnostics in Itasca, IL. I was thoroughly impressed by their operation and advancements in the healthcare space.

My next business tour commemorated the 40th anniversary of Cherry’s Industrial Equipment in Roselle. A milestone for a company that has become synonymous with excellence in ergonomic and safety solutions for the workforce.

Prescription Drug Drop-Off with Roselle Police

This month we came together for the Prescription Drug Drop-Off Event at the Roselle Police Department.

I am beyond proud of our community’s participation. A huge shout-out to Senator Seth Lewis and the stellar team at the Roselle Police Department for their collaboration on this successful National Drug Take Back Day!

Thanks to the effort, we collected an impressive amount of unused and expired medications, ensuring they were disposed of safely and responsibly. This means less potential for abuse and a healthier environment for us all – a huge win for the community!
