Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting the breathtaking BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Bartlett, Illinois. Their temple is a is a marvel of ancient craftsmanship and serves as a traditional Hindu place of worship built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
While I can’t say Diwali is a holiday my family typically celebrates, I can say that this tour has made the Festival of Lights extra special for me.
As we celebrate, lets remind ourselves of the warmth of community and practice gratitude for the remainder of the holiday season.
