ROSELLE, IL – State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro and Senator Seth Lewis are proud to collaborate with the Roselle Police Department to host a Prescription and Over-the-Counter Drug Drop-Off Event on Saturday, October 28. This free event aims to safeguard our community by offering a secure method to dispose of unused or expired medications.
By participating, community members help ensure that these substances stay out of the hands of potential abusers and do not end up contaminating our water supply. Both human and pet medications, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs as well as vitamins, will be accepted at the event. For added convenience, attendees can stay in their vehicles as dedicated event volunteers gather their items for disposal.
Please note that the following items will *not* be accepted: liquids, creams, needles, and illegal drugs.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, October 28
Time: 10AM to 2PM
Location: Roselle Police Department, 103 South Prospect Street, Roselle, IL 60172
Representative Sanalitro encourages all residents to take advantage of this free event: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and take a proactive step in ensuring our neighborhood remains safe. By responsibly disposing of these medications, we can make a significant difference.”
