Council for a Strong America

I joined DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob Berlin and other community leaders to learn how members of law enforcement, the military, and businesses are making investments in children through an organization called “Fight Crime: Invest in Kids.” The organization includes 5,000 law enforcement leaders nationwide, with more than 300 in Illinois. These are police chiefs, sheriffs, and state’s attorneys who support investments in early childhood care, education, after school programs, and the promotion of public safety. Our children deserve to be put on a trajectory toward educational success, and away from crime.
